Diet and Fitness - How does our body allow so much water consumption?

I had high blood pressure and my doctor told me to start eating better, lose some weight, and drink plenty of water especially since I am on psychiatric medications. I am doing so and the blood pressure has dropped but all the water confuses me. 8 glasses a day, 64 ounces, which is 4 pounds of water a day. I've been drinking a bit more, 7.5 pounds a day. I feel great now that my blood pressure is lower, but how does our body use all those pounds of water we drink a day? Does it absorb to our muscles and organs as gasoline does to a car, or do we urinate it all out?

Our bodies are 75% water.
When we pee we lose water, therefore we have to replace it.
Think about how many times a day you pee! You lose a lot of water from that!
Sooo water is a must lol. Unless you want to die from dehydration.

Driving along, suddenly big clunk and car, with motor still running, will not move. Towed in to shop. Tomorrow=diagnosis---either axle has dislocated from transmission (relatively less costly to repair) or it's major transmission breakdown. Horror stories of price inflations have me terrified. What is a good ballpark estimate, what is too much? thanks.

Can't help with an estimate myself, but if you go to this webpage, you can find listings for ATRA Certified transmission shops near you, and shop around to see what the price should be, assuming you can give them a pretty good idea of the service you need.

Excessive testing is great for the drug companies. They spend millions just to make sure you do. I am type 2 . I don't test at all. Only every three months. Because my HBA1C is 5.5 And fasting is 111 I don't fall into the trap. The reason is that my sugar is under control. If I tested 2 or 3 times a day , what would it actually mean. I can do no more to control sugar besides more drugs. I move to Thailand from the US so as to get reasonable care at low prices. I buy all my drugs over the counter for Pennies. I think I may have diabetes. I recently looked it up online after seeing it in a magazine and I have some of the symdoms. Like:
Extereme thrist (i always drink water)
frequent urination
Dry itchy skin
numbness in the hands or feet

does anyone have any low carb vegan recipes?

i want to be vegan because i think it's a healthier lifestyle, but im a type 1 diabetic, and cant have a lot of carbs. so does anyone know any really yummy, simple, low carb vegan recipes?

I realise this is not the answer you want but none the less it would be remiss of me say nothing.

You will find it very difficult trying to be vegan and lowcarb simply because you won't be able to get adequate nutrition from the limited range of foods that fit both the vegan and the lowcarb regimes.

My advice is to chose one or the other and personally, I'd be biased towards lowcarb.

A Vegan diet will encourage you to eat a lot of grains and pulse which are in the main high carb. (That's in addition to the high quantity of vegetables)

So frankly, if your desire to eat vegan is a choice based on a desire to eat healthily rather than one of ideology - then chose lowcarb.

Trying to combine the two may easily result in you becoming frustrated with a lack of choice as well as becoming under nourished - ultimately putting your health at risk.
