If you beat him in the 55, then how did he beat you in the 100?
You have speed endurance since you won the 200, and a good start since you won the 55.
Did you lose the race through a mental mistake?
Get out of the blocks, accelerate to top speed, which should take about 40 meters, then run relaxed so you don't slow down too much before the finish.
The 100 is all about your start and getting to speed, and then holding that speed.
Did he get out faster than you in the 100, or did he pass you somewhere in the last half of the race?
Racing is more mental than physical, you can not lose your concentration during a race.
Since you beat him in the other races, did you think you had the 100 in the bag so you did not run your best race?

Medic alert tattoo? ?
I've been a type 1 diabetic for 10 years. I never wear the bracelets, I'm allergic to every kind it seems, or I just forget to wear it. I'm not very responsible...I am 17 years old and I've skipped a few meals and gotten into trouble. My mom wants me to get a medic alert tattoo, but I don't know if that's such a good idea. I know a cure will come eventually, so I thought it would be dumb to have the tattoo when I'm cured.
Is it a good idea? And where should I get the tattoo? On my wrist?
Paramedics etc don't look for tattoos like they look for bracelets, and I don't know if they would take it seriously if they did find it.
Get your mom to buy you a gold bracelet - you definitely won't be allergic to that.
It's really important that you where a bracelet or necklace though. I wear one of those bracelets and it possibly saved my life - I was hit by a car 2 years ago and the ambulance people wouldn't have known I was diabetic if I wasn't wearing the bracelet.

Can low blood pressure do this?
I just saw an internist for feelign weak, dizzy, and seeing spots. She diagnosed me with low blood pressure. My cbc and fasting blood tests came back normal (I also had an EKG and CT-scan of my head done--both normal), but I'm still concerned that there could be a more serious problem.
The thing is, my blood pressure seems to drop dramatically when I sleep--even if I sleep with my feet raised or on my left side. The weakness, fatigue, lightheadedness, and seeing spots symptoms last until about lunchtime, by which time I've moved around more and all that. I go to bed feeling normal and healthy, but when I wake up, I feel like I've been hit by a train.
Does anyone else have this going on? Is this really low blood pressure or could it be something more serious?
Low BP is certainly a distinct possibility. If your BP drops down below 90/60 then it is probably low BP. If you have a BP monitor at home perhaps you could check your BP when you wake up.

How do I know if I have 'diabetes' ?
I'm 20-male. Actually, I don't really have anykind of symptoms but my grandfather had diabetes and so did my dad! So I'm just wondering what kind of tests should I get ? any info about these tests and diagnosis would be nice. Thanks
The following tests are used for diagnosis:
A fasting plasma glucose test measures your blood glucose after you have gone at least 8 hours without eating. This test is used to detect diabetes or pre-diabetes.
An oral glucose tolerance test measures your blood glucose after you have gone at least 8 hours without eating and 2 hours after you drink a glucose-containing beverage. This test can be used to diagnose diabetes or pre-diabetes.
In a random plasma glucose test, your doctor checks your blood glucose without regard to when you ate your last meal. This test, along with an assessment of symptoms, is used to diagnose diabetes but not pre-diabetes.
Positive test results should be confirmed by repeating the fasting plasma glucose test or the oral glucose tolerance test on a different day.
